She is an eye professor who has 26 years of experience in corneal transplantation and lenses and has been featured in many international articles. Since 2004, she has been a Board Member of Private Atagöz Eye Diseases Branch Center, and since 2014, she has been the Chairman of the Private Ata Saglik Hospital Management Board. She continues her profession as a professor at Ata Saglik Hospital.

She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and completed her eye specialization in İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 1997. İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital received the title of associate professor in 2009 and the title of professor in 2014.
